About this practice
Hi, I'm Karla, I'm 47, a counsellor and trauma-informed psychotherapeutic practitioner, with 25 years of experience across corporate and high-pressure settings, charities, NHS, community services, and private practice. I support people who want real understanding, empathy, confidentiality, and movement, not judgement or surface-level solutions.
Whether you feel stuck, overwhelmed, shame, disconnected, questioning yourself or others, carrying experiences that affect how you live and relate, or simply want someone to listen and to talk to, this is your space.
Maybe it feels like you are breaking down, but actually you are breaking through. Sometimes we can't tell our friends or family everything. I'm here to support you in moving forward.
Each session gives you the space to explore your past, present, and future. I work with: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Work Stress & Burnout, Family Conflict, Narcissistic Abuse, Avoidant Patterns, Relationships, Confidence, Life Changes, Assault, Identity, Bereavement, Childhood Abuse, Menopause, Health, Addiction & More (Check the list for my expertise).
I am 2S-LGBTQ+ and Neurodivergent inclusive.

How to read this listing
Practitioners listed on Echo Journey are independent professionals. Before publication, practitioners submit professional details and supporting credential or licence documentation for review. Please review their profile, credentials and approach directly to decide whether they are the right fit for you.
Crisis and safety
This is an independent practitioner's professional profile, not a crisis or emergency service. If you are experiencing thoughts of suicide or self-harm, or you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis support line in your own country right away.

Who can connect with a practitioner?
Echo supports both independent users and practitioner-supported journeys.
A practitioner connection is available only through an invitation from a practitioner using Echo's professional workspace. This ensures every connection represents a genuine therapeutic relationship and that shared journals, reflections, and between-session support remain secure, intentional, and private.
If you have not received an invitation, you can continue using Echo independently with full access to your personal journals, reflections, and wellbeing tools.
