About this practice

Hi, I’m Jonathan. If you’re looking at therapy, there’s probably something going on that you’d like to understand, change, or just have somewhere to properly talk about.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. You might know exactly what you want to talk about, or you might just have a sense that something isn’t right and want some space to make sense of it.

I’m not here to sit silently and leave you wondering what I’m thinking. I’ll listen, ask questions, offer different perspectives and sometimes challenge you when I think it could be helpful. We can look at where certain patterns might have come from, but also at what’s happening in your life now and what you’d like to change.

Most importantly, I want therapy to feel like somewhere you can actually be yourself. You don’t need to perform, have the right words or show up as the best version of yourself. We can start with wherever you are.

How I Work

I work collaboratively and conversationally. I’ll listen, ask questions, share what I’m noticing and challenge you when I think it matters. We might explore where patterns come from or focus on what’s happening now. I won’t push you before you’re ready, but I won’t shy away from what matters either.

Areas of focus

Overthinking and relationship anxiety
You might find yourself analysing messages, needing reassurance, worrying about where you stand with someone or finding it difficult to switch your mind off.
Feeling stuck in the same patterns
You might understand why you do certain things but still find yourself doing them. We can look at why the same patterns keep showing up and what it would take to start doing something differently.
Self-esteem and not feeling good enough
You might be hard on yourself, compare yourself to other people or rely on reassurance to feel okay. Even when things are going well, there can still be that feeling that you're somehow not enough.
Worrying people will leave
You might become anxious when someone feels distant, need reassurance that things are okay or struggle to trust that people will stay. Sometimes that can leave you holding on tightly; other times, pulling away before someone gets the chance to hurt you.
Kink, BDSM and alternative relationships
You might want somewhere you can talk openly about kink, BDSM or alternative relationship dynamics without feeling judged or having them treated as a problem in themselves. We can explore whatever is actually bringing you to therapy, whether that's relationships, boundaries, shame, identity, communication or something completely separate.
Stress, burnout and feeling overwhelmed
You might look like you're managing everything from the outside while feeling exhausted, irritable or completely drained underneath. Sometimes you've been getting on with things for so long that you don't realise how much you're carrying.
Difficult experiences that still affect you
Something can be in the past without feeling completely over. Earlier experiences can affect how you see yourself, respond to things and relate to other people now, sometimes in ways you don't immediately connect to what happened.
Life changes and not knowing what's next
A breakup, new job, move, loss or other change can leave you wondering what you're actually doing with your life. Sometimes it's less about having a big crisis and more about realising you're not sure what you want anymore.

How to read this listing

Practitioners listed on Echo Journey are independent professionals. Before publication, practitioners submit professional details and supporting credential or licence documentation for review. Please review their profile, credentials and approach directly to decide whether they are the right fit for you.

Crisis and safety

This is an independent practitioner's professional profile, not a crisis or emergency service. Profiles are not monitored, and messages sent through a practitioner's own contact details may not be read straight away. If you are experiencing thoughts of suicide or self-harm, or you are in crisis, please use one of the routes below right away rather than waiting for a reply.

  • Emergency servicesCall 999 in the UK, 112 across Europe, or your local emergency number.
  • NHS 111 (UK)Call 111 and select the mental health option for urgent, non-emergency help.
  • Samaritans (UK and Ireland)Call 116 123, free, at any hour of the day or night.

If you are supporting someone else and you believe they are in immediate danger, contact emergency services rather than a directory listing.

Who can connect with a practitioner?

Echo supports both independent users and practitioner-supported journeys.

A practitioner connection is available only through an invitation from a practitioner using Echo's professional workspace. This ensures every connection represents a genuine therapeutic relationship and that shared journals, reflections, and between-session support remain secure, intentional, and private.

If you have not received an invitation, you can continue using Echo independently with full access to your personal journals, reflections, and wellbeing tools.
