OCD Cognitive Restructuring Journal
A structured 24-week companion, used alongside your practitioner.
This is a practitioner-guided journey — it becomes available inside Echo Journey once your practitioner recommends it. There is no self-service start, because the journal is designed to sit alongside practitioner-led treatment rather than stand in for it.
What this journal is
A phased written companion drawing on cognitive behavioural therapy, exposure and response prevention, and the four-step relabel / reattribute / refocus / revalue method. It is a between-session tool, not a treatment on its own, and is used only alongside the practitioner who referred you.
Who it is for
People already working with a practitioner on OCD-spectrum difficulties — intrusive thoughts, compulsions, checking, reassurance-seeking, intolerance of uncertainty — who want a steady place to keep the work going between sessions.
It is not a diagnostic tool, not a stand-alone treatment, and not a substitute for practitioner-directed exposure work.
How long it takes
Twenty-four weeks, organised into phases with one unit per week. Your practitioner sets the pace with you.
If you are not working with a practitioner yet
You can still start reflecting. The nervous system regulation pillar covers the ground underneath anxiety and compulsion in plain language, and the practitioner directory lists independent practitioners who work in this area.
Echo Journey is a reflective companion. It is not therapy, not treatment, and not a crisis service. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services.
